ATHLETICS & ACTIVITIES

Bissell.jpg

Welcome Bobcats!

We are looking forward to a great athletic year.

Sports have been a part of my life for almost all of it, from watching my dad coach when I was young to today where I serve as the AD. Throughout my time in sports I have strived to have the opportunity for all athletes learn and grow not just within their sport, but in life as well.

I look forward to meeting everyone and supporting everyone as much as I possibly can.

Custer County Schools Fight Song

"Oh, the Blue and the Gold over all,

May they rise to the sky, never fall.

The world looks to them in their flight;

They are the colors for which we fight.

We’re the students of CCHS.

The school that is always the best.

We’ve stood every trial, every test.

And now the Blue and Gold will

Fight, fight, fight, forever!"

Eligibility Regulation

Eligibility to participate in interscholastic athletics shall be determined with reference to the Constitution and by-laws of the Colorado High School Activities Association and the rules and regulations of the school district.  School rules will be applicable for grade eligibility. Custer County Secondary School has a weekly eligibility policy.

Students are required to pass all subjects with a 60% or higher to participate in activities or athletic events including all school sponsored dances.  Students with two "D's" or one "F" cannot participate in any athletic event or extra-curricular activities.  Participation in practices will be at the discretion of the individual coach.  Our eligibility is done one week at a time, reported on Monday for that school week.  Telephone notification will be made.  If you have a student failing a class, please contact the teacher to see what can be done to help the student.
