The district provides a $25,000 life and AD&D insurance policy through Companion Life for all benefited employees (those who work at least half-time on a consistent basis).  The district also pays the premium for benefited employees for health insurance through Regional Care, Inc. and medical reimbursement (Gap) insurance through the Custer County School Medical Reimbursement Plan.  Optional dependent health insurance, optional dependent medical reimbursement (Gap) insurance, optional employee and dependent dental insurance through Companion Life and optional employee and dependent vision insurance through Anthem Blue Vision is available through payroll withholding. Benefited employees have the option of waiving medical and gap insurance coverage if they have coverage from another source.  In the case of waiver, a monthly stipend equal to one half of the current employee medical insurance premium will be paid to that employee. Payroll withholding is also available for a discounted membership fee at Altitude Fitness (a local health club).  For questions concerning rates for optional insurance plans or other benefit plan questions, please contact Amy Perschbacher in the payroll office (783-4952).
