Welcome to the PTSO page! If you’re looking to find out more about us, where your donation does or would go, or how to get involved, you’re in the right place.
PTSO stands for parent–teacher–student–organization and was formed in the 1980’s. The mission has always been to support our kids and teachers. Awarding scholarships has become a large part of what we use our funds for. This allows us to support our graduating seniors while continuing their education in order to further serve themselves, their communities, and their future families.
Some of the things we provide every year-
$500 for after-prom
T-shirts for elementary field day up to $600
Scholarships for graduating seniors up to $1,900
Scholastic Bookfair as needed to ensure every child receives a book up to $150
How do we raise funds? We know, the dreaded “sales” part. But worry not, my friends! All of our fundraisers are fairly simple and require no creepy vacuum salesman vibes. We’re always open to new, fun, and easy ideas to be able to do more for our staff and students.
Butterbraids (late November pickup, the week before Christmas break)
Cookie Dough (spring)
Daddy Daughter Dance (February)
Boxtop$ for Education (scan your receipts in the app or use the dropbox in the office)
STUCO Halloween Carnival
Smelly Gellie gel crayons
Want to get involved? We would love to have you. We are not a membership-type organization, so there are no dues or requirements for attendance. Our meetings are on the third Monday of the month during the school year at 4:15 in the library. They are open to anyone who would like to attend. Meetings are casual and typically last about 45 minutes. Many hands make light work, so having just a few bodies at each meeting is great!
(This list is always being updated and under construction)
