Each year local agencies award Custer County students close to $75,000 in local scholarships! The local scholarship season kicks off on Thursday, February 20th at 6:30pm in the MPR at the annual Wet Mountain Valley Rotary Scholarship. During the event, students will be able to meet local scholarship agencies and pick up scholarship applications. "This is a great time for students to meet and gather information on all of the scholarships we have available," said high school counselor Troy Bomgardner. "Our local agencies do an awesome job of supporting our students!". In addition, students may go to a scholarship website www.cchs-counseling.weebly.com that is a private website for Custer County students to help them with their scholarship searches. "There are hundreds of scholarships out there for students, and hopefully this website helps the process for our students," said Bomgardner. Students or parents can contact Troy Bomgardner, 783-4927, troy.bomgardner@ccbobcats.net if they have any questions about scholarship season.
