The Board of Education is pleased to announce two new additions to the CCSD Leadership Team. New Interim Superintendent Kyle Hebberd and new MS/HS Principal Ren Olson begin serving the District this month.
Mr. Hebberd brings 34 years of public education experience and 17 years' experience as a Colorado rural superintendent to CCSD having previously served as superintendent in both the Swink and Walsh School Districts.
Ms. Olson recently relocated to Custer County after serving the Roaring Fork School District on Colorado's Western Slope for more than 40 years. Ms. Olson's experience includes serving as principal of a dual-language school, assistant principal, instructional coach and teacher.
Mr. Hebberd and Ms. Olson will join current Elementary School Principal Sydney Benesch to complete the CCSD Administrative Team.
