Dear Students and Families,
The Custer County Sheriff's Office will conduct a Mass Casualty Incident (Active Shooter) training exercise at Custer County High School on March 27-28, 2026.
This is only a training exercise designed to help law enforcement and first responders prepare for emergency situations. During this time, you may see an increased presence of law enforcement and emergency vehicles on or near campus.
We are seeking high school students and parents interested in volunteering to role-play during the exercise. Participation is optional, and volunteers may be asked to assist in various training scenarios.
If interested, please complete the Google Form and print and return the required Police Training Volunteer Permission Form, which includes drop-off instructions.
