The Volunteer Program assists in the recruitment, registration, utilization, and recognition of volunteers and classroom adopters in the Custer County Schools. Volunteers can be found working with students in band, choir, mock college interviews,

the Invention Convention, the Career Fair, in drama productions, and as mentors.  Classroom help varies widely from guest speakers, individualized tutoring, classroom academic support, and more.  Volunteers also help out in the office, the library, with sporting and other special events, and screenings.

The Excellence in Education Committee provides funds to pay a part-time coordinator for the Volunteer Program and Adopt-A-Class program. Our volunteers and the generous donations from the community through Adopt-A-Class are making a positive impact on the students at Custer County Schools.  To obtain an application to volunteer please click here or on the button on the right.

For additional information contact the Volunteer Coordinator at (719) 783-4958.

Please consider sharing your expertise, experience, and/or resources with our students.
